Your Security is Our Priority In the world of Web3, your Secret Recovery Phrase (the 12 to 24 words provided when you created your wallet) is the "Master Key" to your entire digital existence.

The Golden Rule: We, and the team at MetaMask, will never ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase. If a window or site asks you to input these words to "validate," "sync," or "unlock" your account, it is a phishing attempt.
